The sector of the entity as listed in Annex I (sectors of high criticality) or Annex II (other critical sectors) to Directive (EU) 2022/2555. The values are the sector headings of those two annexes. Of manufacturing (Annex II point 5) only the manufacture of medical devices and in vitro diagnostic medical devices is listed here; the other subsectors are defined by NACE Rev. 2 Section C divisions 26 to 30 and are checked against the company's NACE codes. For the subsectors and entity types of Annex I the sector headings are deliberately broader than the annex, so the entry in the annex governs.

Der Sektor der Einrichtung, wie er in Anhang I (Sektoren mit hoher Kritikalität) oder Anhang II (sonstige kritische Sektoren) der Richtlinie (EU) 2022/2555 aufgeführt ist. Die Werte sind die Sektorüberschriften dieser beiden Anhänge. Vom verarbeitenden Gewerbe (Anhang II Nummer 5) steht hier nur die Herstellung von Medizinprodukten und In-vitro-Diagnostika; die übrigen Teilsektoren sind durch die Abteilungen 26 bis 30 des Abschnitts C der NACE Rev. 2 bestimmt und werden über die NACE-Codes des Unternehmens geprüft. Für die Teilsektoren und Einrichtungsarten des Anhangs I sind die Sektorüberschriften bewusst weiter als der Anhang, maßgeblich ist dort der Eintrag im Anhang.
