Beyond the placing-on-the-market ban in Annex IV point 1, the import, supply, making available to third parties in the Union, use and export of non-refillable containers for Annex I and Annex II group 1 fluorinated greenhouse gases is prohibited, whether empty or fully or partly charged. Such containers may be stored or transported only for subsequent disposal. Containers for laboratory and analytical uses are exempt. Non-refillable means containers that cannot be refilled without being adapted for that purpose, and containers that could be refilled but are imported or placed on the market without arrangements for their return for refilling.

Über das Verbot des Inverkehrbringens nach Anhang IV Nummer 1 hinaus sind Einfuhr, Lieferung, Bereitstellung für Dritte in der Union, Verwendung und Ausfuhr nicht wieder auffüllbarer Behälter für fluorierte Treibhausgase des Anhangs I und des Anhangs II Gruppe 1 verboten, gleich ob leer oder ganz oder teilweise befüllt. Solche Behälter dürfen nur zur späteren Entsorgung gelagert oder befördert werden. Ausgenommen sind Behälter für Labor- und Analysezwecke. Als nicht wieder auffüllbar gelten Behälter, die ohne Umarbeitung nicht wieder befüllt werden können, und solche, die wieder befüllt werden könnten, aber ohne Rückgabevorkehrungen eingeführt oder in Verkehr gebracht werden.
