From 1 January 2026 the use of Annex I fluorinated greenhouse gases with a GWP of 2 500 or more for the servicing or maintenance of air-conditioning equipment and heat pumps is prohibited. Until 1 January 2032 the ban does not apply to reclaimed Annex I gases of that class whose containers are labelled under Article 12(7), nor to recycled gases recovered from such equipment and used by the undertaking that carried out the recovery or for which it was carried out.

Ab dem 1. Januar 2026 ist die Verwendung der in Anhang I aufgeführten fluorierten Treibhausgase mit einem Treibhauspotenzial von 2 500 oder mehr für die Instandhaltung oder Wartung von Klimaanlagen und Wärmepumpen verboten. Bis zum 1. Januar 2032 gilt das Verbot nicht für aufgearbeitete Anhang-I-Gase dieser Klasse, deren Behälter nach Artikel 12 Absatz 7 gekennzeichnet sind, und nicht für recycelte Gase, die aus solchen Einrichtungen rückgewonnen wurden und von dem Unternehmen verwendet werden, das die Rückgewinnung durchgeführt hat oder für das sie durchgeführt wurde.
