Description (English)
By 12 February 2027 Member States had to lay down rules on penalties for infringements of the Regulation and take all measures necessary to ensure that they are applied. The penalties must be effective, proportionate and dissuasive. Their nature and level follow from the national law of the Member State concerned; the Regulation itself sets no range.

Die Mitgliedstaaten mussten bis zum 12. Februar 2027 Vorschriften über Sanktionen für Verstöße gegen die Verordnung erlassen und alle für ihre Anwendung erforderlichen Maßnahmen treffen. Die Sanktionen müssen wirksam, verhältnismäßig und abschreckend sein. Art und Höhe ergeben sich erst aus dem nationalen Recht des jeweiligen Mitgliedstaats; die Verordnung selbst legt keinen Rahmen fest.
