The management informs the workers' representatives at the appropriate level and discusses with them the relevant information and the means of obtaining and verifying it. The opinion of the workers' representatives is communicated to the relevant administrative, management or supervisory bodies. For consolidated reporting the same task falls to the management of the parent at group level (Article 29a(6)). Applicability: the obligation applies regulation-wide; who is caught, and from which financial year, follows from the rule sets of this act. The main case, and therefore the rule set recorded here, is the group of undertakings with more than EUR 450 million net turnover and more than 1 000 employees that applies from financial year 2027. Until the end of 2026 large public-interest companies with more than 500 employees are also subject to the obligation (wave 1); the group and issuer rule sets apply in addition. Die Unternehmensleitung unterrichtet die Arbeitnehmervertreter auf geeigneter Ebene und erörtert mit ihnen die einschlägigen Informationen sowie die Mittel zu ihrer Einholung und Überprüfung. Die Stellungnahme der Arbeitnehmervertreter wird den zuständigen Verwaltungs-, Leitungs- oder Aufsichtsorganen mitgeteilt. Für die konsolidierte Berichterstattung trifft dieselbe Aufgabe die Unternehmensleitung des Mutterunternehmens auf Konzernebene (Artikel 29a Absatz 6). Anwendbarkeit: Die Pflicht gilt regelungsweit; wen sie ab welchem Geschäftsjahr trifft, ergibt sich aus den Regelwerken dieses Gesetzes. Hauptfall und damit gesetztes Regelwerk ist der ab dem Geschäftsjahr 2027 maßgebliche Kreis mit mehr als 450 Mio. EUR Nettoumsatzerlösen und mehr als 1 000 Beschäftigten. Bis Ende 2026 sind daneben große Unternehmen von öffentlichem Interesse mit mehr als 500 Beschäftigten berichtspflichtig (Welle 1); ferner gelten die Konzern- und Emittentenregelwerke.
