Description (English)
An assurance file is created for each assurance engagement concerning sustainability reporting. It documents at least the data recorded under Article 22b and any other documents supporting the assurance report. The file is closed no later than 60 days after the date of signature of the report. In addition, statutory auditors and audit firms keep ongoing records of any complaints made in writing about the performance of statutory audits and of assurance engagements concerning sustainability reporting (Article 3(12) [Article 24b(6)]). The addressee is the assurance provider, not the reporting company. The assurance file arises per engagement and has its own deadline of 60 days after signature; the complaints register is maintained continuously. Further references: Article 3(12) (Article 24b(6)).
Description (German)
Weitere Fundstellen: Artikel 3 Nummer 12 (Artikel 24b Absatz 6).
