Where the operator offers automatic authentication at a publicly accessible recharging point, via the charging cable or telematics, the end user must always keep the choice not to use it: the user may instead recharge on an ad hoc basis or use another contract-based payment solution offered at that point. The operator displays this option clearly and offers it in an appropriate manner at every recharging point where automatic authentication is possible.
