A recharging point installed or replaced from 1 January 2027 must allow smart recharging on the basis of non-proprietary and non-discriminatory communication protocols and standards, in an interoperable manner and in compliance with the European standards and protocols laid down in the delegated acts adopted under Article 21(2) and (3) of Regulation (EU) 2023/1804. Smart recharging is defined in section 2 no. 5a as a recharging operation in which the intensity of the electricity delivered to the battery is adjusted dynamically on the basis of information communicated electronically. This requirement is new in the version applying from 1 January 2027 and transposes Article 14(6) of Directive (EU) 2024/1275.

Ein Ladepunkt, der ab dem 01.01.2027 errichtet oder ersetzt wird, hat intelligentes Laden auf der Grundlage nichtproprietärer und diskriminierungsfreier Kommunikationsprotokolle und Standards, auf interoperable Weise und unter Einhaltung der in den nach Artikel 21 Absatz 2 und 3 der Verordnung (EU) 2023/1804 erlassenen delegierten Rechtsakten festgelegten europäischen Normen und Protokolle zu ermöglichen. Intelligentes Laden ist in § 2 Nummer 5a definiert als ein Ladevorgang, bei dem die Intensität des an die Batterie gelieferten Stroms auf der Grundlage elektronisch übermittelter Informationen dynamisch angepasst wird. Die Anforderung ist neu in der ab dem 01.01.2027 geltenden Fassung und setzt Artikel 14 Absatz 6 der Richtlinie (EU) 2024/1275 um.
