Operators of stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning or heat pump equipment containing fluorinated greenhouse gases listed in Annex I or Annex II group 1 of Regulation (EU) 2024/573 must ensure, in addition to the requirements of Article 4 of that Regulation, that the specific refrigerant loss in normal operation does not exceed the limits. These are graded by date of erection and charge: self-contained refrigeration equipment from 3 kilograms 1 %; equipment erected after 30 June 2008 3 % below 10 kilograms, 2 % from 10 to 100 kilograms and 1 % above 100 kilograms; equipment erected after 30 June 2005 and up to 30 June 2008 6 %, 4 % and 2 %; equipment erected up to 30 June 2005 8 %, 6 % and 4 %. The specific refrigerant loss is determined from the total annual loss and the charge at first commissioning, or from the charge, time and the sum of top-up quantities. Hermetically sealed equipment labelled as such is exempt.

Wer ortsfeste Kälteanlagen, Klimaanlagen oder Wärmepumpen betreibt, die fluorierte Treibhausgase nach Anhang I oder Anhang II Gruppe 1 der Verordnung (EU) 2024/573 enthalten, hat zusätzlich zu den Anforderungen des Artikels 4 der Verordnung sicherzustellen, dass der spezifische Kältemittelverlust im Normalbetrieb die Grenzwerte nicht überschreitet. Diese sind nach Errichtungszeitpunkt und Füllmenge gestaffelt: in sich geschlossene Kälteanlagen ab 3 Kilogramm 1 Prozent; nach dem 30. Juni 2008 errichtete Einrichtungen 3 Prozent unter 10 Kilogramm, 2 Prozent bei 10 bis 100 Kilogramm und 1 Prozent über 100 Kilogramm; nach dem 30. Juni 2005 und bis zum 30. Juni 2008 errichtete Einrichtungen 6, 4 und 2 Prozent; bis zum 30. Juni 2005 errichtete Einrichtungen 8, 6 und 4 Prozent. Der spezifische Kältemittelverlust wird aus dem Gesamtverlust je Jahr und der Füllmenge bei erstmaliger Inbetriebnahme oder aus Füllmenge, Zeit und Summe der Nachfüllmengen bestimmt. Hermetisch geschlossene und als solche gekennzeichnete Einrichtungen sind ausgenommen.
