Dem Produkt ist entweder eine Kopie der vollständigen oder eine vereinfachte Erklärung nach dem Muster in Anhang VI beizufügen; die vereinfachte Erklärung muss die genaue Internetadresse der vollständigen Erklärung nennen. Fällt das Produkt unter mehrere Rechtsakte der Union mit Erklärungspflicht, wird eine einzige Erklärung für alle ausgestellt. Mit der Ausstellung übernimmt der Hersteller die Verantwortung für die Konformität.
