The company draws up a concrete and feasible action plan on the basis of the recommendations arising from the energy audit. The plan identifies a measure implementing each audit recommendation where the recommendation is technically or economically feasible. The action plan is submitted to the management of the company. The task follows each audit and therefore arises on the same cycle as the audit itself. The Directive is formally addressed to the Member States; the obligation recorded here reaches the company only through national transposing law, which had to be in force by 11 October 2025.

Das Unternehmen erstellt auf Grundlage der Empfehlungen aus dem Energieaudit einen konkreten und durchführbaren Aktionsplan. Der Plan benennt für jede Auditempfehlung eine Maßnahme zur Umsetzung, sofern die Empfehlung technisch oder wirtschaftlich durchführbar ist. Der Aktionsplan wird der Geschäftsführung des Unternehmens vorgelegt. Die Aufgabe knüpft an jedes Audit an und fällt deshalb mit demselben Rhythmus an wie das Audit selbst. Die Richtlinie richtet sich förmlich an die Mitgliedstaaten; die hier erfasste Pflicht trifft das Unternehmen erst über das nationale Umsetzungsrecht, das bis zum 11. Oktober 2025 in Kraft zu setzen war.
