The operator of the data centre covers 50 per cent of the electricity consumed in its data centres with electricity from renewable sources on a balance-sheet basis from 1 January 2024. This is the first of two steps; full renewable sourcing applies from 1 January 2027 and is recorded as a separate obligation.
