The employer informs the works council in good time of the planning of the company review procedure and submits the necessary documents (section 20(1)). The employees must be informed of the results of the review procedure; section 43(2) and section 53(2) of the Works Constitution Act, which provide for the works meeting and the works councils meeting as the forum for that information, must be observed (section 20(2)). The duty exists alongside the involvement of the workplace employee representative bodies in carrying out the procedure itself (section 17(2)). Further references: section 20(2).

Der Arbeitgeber unterrichtet den Betriebsrat rechtzeitig über die Planung des betrieblichen Prüfverfahrens und legt dabei die erforderlichen Unterlagen vor (§ 20 Absatz 1).
